THE 5 TIPS ID LOVE YOU TO KNOW ON HOW TO GET THE MOST REAL AUTHENTIC BEAUTIFUL FAMILY PHOTOS.

AUTHENTICALLY YOU.

Just be your lovely selves! and I will capture that, as you are! all you have to do is get dressed and show up and that is it! then just relax and be present, its these moments that pass us by so quickly a small moment in time that you will have all to yourselves, don't t stress the small stuff if the kids aren't in the best mood do not worry, you will still get incredibly beautiful photos .

WHAT TO WEAR.

I always recommend dressing for you! in what makes you feel most comfortable and confident. something you can move in freely and be able to bend over and play with your kids. Don't feel like you all need to match and please feel free to contact me and we can
talk through your options for you and your family, getting the wardrobe right can sometimes make all the difference!

LOCATION LOCATION.

Where do you and your family love to spend time, is there somewhere special to you that sparks a joyful emotion or memory, it could be at home on a Sunday morning making pancakes or perhaps the beach getting your feet wet or in my case with children just jumping in fully clothed (which is why I always have a spare set of clothes with me) or even the family farm at sunset around the fire roasting marshmallows, these are the times we will remember and want documented. It could even be as simple as taking the dog for a walk in a luscious green paddock. Let me know your story it helps to tie everything together through precious photos.

IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA.

There is nothing worse than being in front of a camera and feeling uncomfortable, I can assure you that won’t be the case with me, I find its best to just be present with your loved ones in a family session, no awkward posed photographs and just enough direction so you are not wondering what on earth you are supposed to do, this is where finding an activity or a tradition, something that’s is unique to your family so that you are focusing on that and not the camera.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS.

Sometimes I think staying at home for your entire session or even just half of it is such a great idea, its where you are most comfortable and where so many memories take place, cozied up in bed, cooking in the kitchen or having a cup of tea, its also a great idea if your children take a little bit to warm up to having their photo taken. I love finding beauty in the smallest of things and your images will be unlike anyone else’s and hold a special place in your heart for years to come.
